Indoor Inclined Platform Lift
Butler Mobility’s Inclined Platform Wheelchair Lifts are manufactured in Pennsylvania. They are custom built to meet your needs and are easy to install and maintain. No structural modifications to the home are required to install our lifts, nor will the lift block the stairway. Available in front load and side load options.
Installation and Service
Butler wheelchair platform lifts are designed for installation that couldn’t be easier or less invasive. The rails attach at the top and bottom of the stairs with no modifications needed to walls. The power unit is located at the bottom of the stairway and can be placed either on the right or left hand side of the stairs depending upon space restrictions. A through wall kit is available to place the power unit through an adjoining wall, or a remote power unit extension can re-locate the power unit to a more suitable location near the stairway.
We back our inclined wheel chair lift products with a five-year limited warranty, as well as nationwide customer service and maintenance either direct with Butler Mobility or through one of our authorized dealer/installers.
Color Options
Butler Wheelchair Platform Lift models are offered in five new beautiful earth tone colors at no additional charge. These colors will not only blend well in the home but will enhance the beauty of the stairway.
Custom coatings are also available at a small additional charge.

Safety
Our inclined platform lifts are ADA-compliant and meet or exceed all National Safety Code (ANSI/ASME code) requirements. All electrical components are UL®certified, and the unit requires only standard household current and a dedicated standard outlet. Our power transmission has been certified by Met Laboratories, Inc. to ASME A 17.5 /CSA B44.1-11 meeting approved standards for Elevator and Escalator Electrical Equipment. The Butler Mobility inclined platform lift is certified to lift 750 lbs (350 kg) capacity.
All Inclined Platform Wheelchair Lifts have three directional switches, all within easy reach of the user. One on the platform, another at the upper landing and another at the bottom landing. Keyed controls are also available at a small additional cost. All switches are “momentary” (constant pressure) to meet safety code requirements.
In the event of a power failure, the standard battery backup will bring the platform up and down as many as 5 times, depending on the age of the battery, the height, and the load, so the user is never left stranded. Our IPL comes with a standard 5 year warranty on all parts.

Each of the two rails on our Inclined Platform Wheelchair Lifts take up just four inches of stair width when the unit is not in use, ensuring the safety and convenience of family members and others traversing the stairs.
The Butler Inclined Platform Wheelchair Lift is also designed with appearance and functionality in mind. All the working mechanisms are concealed to offer a seamless, attractive appearance and optimum safety in the home.
Warranty
The Battery Backup has its own warranty, please use warranty cards provided with the Battery Backup.
Lifetime coverage on all major parts including the motor, the motor box & drive.
